The Fixed Network AMR (Automatic Meter Read)System, provides the utility with the ability to read a meter without entering the home. Based on standard 865 MHZ Mbus radio technology, the Fixed Network AMR solution gives the energy supplier fast, reliable meter readings. This data can be used by the energy supplier to provide accurate upto date billing, removing the need for estimated readings on the occasions when access to the meter is not available. The Fixed Network AMR can be retrofitted to any Zenner water meter, allowing the meter owner the possibility to implement AMR at a point in time after the meter has been installed. By utilizing up to date RF technology the transmission distances are long. This usually determines that the meter reader can read whole apartment blocks without the need to enter the building. The data can be downloaded from the Fixed Network AMR into a Hand Held Terminal or any Android phone. Once the reads have been made the meter reader receives a confirmation message and can move on to the next site. Alarms will also be sent to the Mobile Phone in the event of a Fixed Network AMR AMR having a low battery, or if a tamper is thought to have taken place. Once that data is received it can then be transmitted to the Cloud Data base via GPRS or GSM removing the need for the meter reader having to return to the office. Having reached the Cloud data base the energy utility now has the option to use the operating software to produce bills, send customer SMS's, Customer e mails, and generally manage their customer data base.

The Wave Pay As You Go Token Less (PAYGTL-BLE) System provides Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), together with the potential for the utility to receive payment for the gas before it is used. The PAYGTL meter differs from the standard AMR offerings, in that there is a solenoid valve fitted on the meter inlet. The wave module monitors the customers' account checking the gas consumed against the credit available. Should the account become zero then the gas supply will be shut off. A customer can top up his account at a registered pay facility, by credit card or by netbanking / e-wallet over the Android phone /online or by direct debit. The display on the module provides the customer with realtime information regarding the credit balance, amount of Emergency credit available, valve status, and an indication of any active alarms. Data is stored in the Cloud/Central Server and can be viewed by the Gas Utility, or the customer using a remote internet connection, or the App on their mobile phone. The system is programmed to be user friendly.
